Additional Services

The following services may be offered in conjunction with your treatment plan.

Hypnosis

Clinical Hypnosis is defined as a state of focused attention and enhanced capacity to respond to suggestions. Research has discovered it can be helpful with anxiety, pain management, and sleep among other concerns.  Common myths about hypnosis are that hypnosis will make a person lose control, surrender their will to another person, or lose consciousness.  Hypnosis is actually something you do for yourself.  The provider simply serves as a teacher to guide you.

Telemedicine coffee cup

Telemedicine involves the use of electronic communications (i.e., videoconferencing) to interact with your psychologist from a distant location.  A growing body of research has found encouraging evidence related to the effectiveness of telemedicine, noting comparable results to in-person treatments.   Following an initial face-to-face Diagnostic Assessment, telemedicine may be considered as a treatment option due to distance, convenience, or because it is clinically indicated (e.g., Agoraphobia, Immunodeficiency, In Vivo Exposure Therapy).

Biofeedback

Biofeedback is a strategy that gives you the power to use your thoughts to control your body. Research suggests that biofeedback can help with anxiety, pain, IBS, and more.
